Three activists, caught between the paralysis of everyday life and the urgency of change, find in the project of reopening the southernmost radio station in the world the opportunity to tell the story of the climate crisis from Antarctica. Meeting in real life for the first time, the journey pushes them to confront their limits, turning the mission into an opportunity for rebirth. A collective symphony between the extreme challenges of the frozen continent and the weight of a past to be overcome.
The project observes and questions the world of people in their twenties, a category that today, especially today, escapes every definition. A fluid, gentle, self-destructive, and highly creative generation. A generation facing a world that has collapsed, a complexity never seen before. Observing people in their twenties is a way of listening to them, because they will be the ones to lead us toward an unprecedented world that we must build. The project is artistically challenging because it follows an organic development path: it begins with a date and a place, and from there the characters, sounds, and gestures emerge. Although it is a fiction film, this is a project of observation and collective composition, two apparently opposing gestures that instead merge into a single work, in the tradition of works that build fictional visions starting from the substance of reality.
