A musical short film curated by the director of the Florence Academy Gallery Cecilie Hollberg, produced by MYBOSSWAS, and composed and directed by Giorgio Ferrero.
The Quartetto musical suite was written by Giorgio Ferrero with Rodolfo Mongitore for four ancient instruments belonging to or inspired by the priceless collection of musical instruments exhibited in the Galleria dell’Accademia in Florence. Contemporary music that looks to the future through the tradition of the past, custom-written for the reconstruction of the Oval Spinetta by Bartolomeo Cristofori, from 1690, for a baroque cello similar to that of Stradivari exhibited in the Museum, for an ancient harp and an oboe da caccia belonging to the collection of the Luigi Cherubini Conservatory in Florence.
