A major documentary project telling the story of Italy’s largest cooperative of beekeepers through the voices of its protagonists.
Together with photographer Rosy Sinicropi, in a project commissioned by Cooperativa Conapi, we collected the testimonies of their beekeepers in a journey spanning all four seasons and the entire Italian peninsula.
From this remarkable experience, 15 video portraits were created, curated by Rosy Sinicropi and Edoardo Rubatto, forming a collective narrative rich in humanity. An original perspective on the themes of environmental sustainability and biodiversity, and a testimony to the unique relationship the protagonists have developed with the natural world that surrounds them.
