Beautiful things soundtrack live performance
Giorgio Ferrero (scriptwriter, director and composer) and Rodolfo Mongitore (co-author of the music and the sound of the film) have presented together with Luisella Ghirello (a cellist and the actress of the film) a brand-new musical performance within an anechoic chamber.
Some key instruments of the soundtrack of the film followed one another in an electro-acoustic composition. The musicians used two lithophones, a vibraphone, a “wrenchaphone”, and bells in addition to the cello performed by Luisella Ghirello, who is a teacher at Conservatorio Ferrara.
The event was born out of the collaboration of Università di Ferrara, Arci Ferrara, DB Technologies, Conservatorio Frescobaldi di Ferrara and Wanted Cinema, and it is a product of MYBOSSWAS. The performance was published exclusively on Artribune.
