MYBOSSWAS ercole primo designed and created the graphics and the color map of the exhibition ‘Splendors in the Italian courts: the Este’.
The two historical periods and the two cities are identified by two palette of blue, from two different heraldic eagles and two trapezoidal drop cap.
A Bondi blue, an angular eagle and an aggressive Bodoni build the iconography of the Renaissance period as a royal blue, an elegant eagle, a flowery Bodoni tell the Baroque period.
The visual grammar is designed on three levels of communication: silver frames and captions identify the Este princes, monochrome and eagles indicate the main works and the dark walls and conventional captions contain the simple works.
